Major Nick Fowler started his career with the Ridgefield Police Department in 2006 as a patrol officer. He then served in the Detective Bureau before being promoted through the ranks of Sergeant, Lieutenant, and Captain, and now the Department's Executive Officer.

Major Fowler oversees the commanders of the Uniform, Detective, Professional Standards, and Communications Divisions. He oversees Internal Affairs investigations, scheduling and hiring of the Department staff, reviews FOI requests, submits grant proposals, and assists in payroll and budgeting.
