In partnership with the Ridgefield Public Schools, our School Resource Officers (SROs) interact and protect the thousands of students and staff in Ridgefield's nine public schools. SROs provide for a safe and secure school environment. In addition, they act as a resource for the students and educational staff.

RPD's School Resource Officers are members of the National Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO), a non-profit organization founded in 1991 with an unrelenting commitment to school safety. NASRO is the world’s leader in school-based policing.
