Bailey Ave Lot Parking Changes - Effective Dec 9th

The Parking Enforcement Officers have made the Parking Authority aware of an increase in daytime staff of downtown businesses regularly moving their vehicles within the Bailey Ave Municipal Lot to avoid parking violations. 

As such, the Parking Authority has made the decision to change all 3-hour parking in the Bailey Ave Municipal Lot to 2-hour parking. This change will go into effect Monday, December 9. 

Downtown businesses and their staff are strongly encouraged to utilize the Governor St Municipal Lot that offers all day parking with no time limits. There are over 100 spaces in this lot, and is only a short two minute walk to the Bailey Ave Municipal Lot and Main St. Doing so benefits all downtown businesses to have adequate parking available for their customers & patrons. The use of these spaces by business owners & their employees (and the moving of their cars during the day) defeats the purpose of time limits, which is to ensure parking is available for customers, especially during the upcoming holiday season.

Additionally, as a reminder, there are no landlord permits allowed in the Bailey Ave Municipal Lot.
