The Public Death of Raymond Zack: Memorial Day, San Francisco Bay. A fully dressed man walks into the cold shallow waters off a public beach, and waits as the tide rises. Curious beach-combers watch the man, and wait. Police and Fire units arrive, watch and wait. The sand in the man's hourglass runs out while everybody waits. ...for what?  and why?
