Permits
Please note:
- Permits for the 2024-2025 are available for purchase
- Complete a permit application form, attach proof of residency, include cash or check for $20 resident, $50 non-resident or $50 Local Business, come in to the Tax Collector's office for same day pick-up, OR send an addressed envelope to Tax Collector and mail it to 400 Main Street, Ridgefield, CT 06877.
- Permits will be mailed out for all applications received by mail.
The annual permit allows access to the Ridgefield Transfer Station and Recycling Center for the period designated. Permittee agrees to abide by all rules for safe and legal use of the facilities.
Haulers, please register with the Housatonic Resources Recovery Authority
per CGS Sec 22a.220a(d)1.
Transfer Station Permits for Haulers are issued through the HRRA.
All vehicles wishing to enter and use the Transfer Station must have a current permit.
