Ridgefield Town Clerk Wendy Gannon Lionetti would like to notify property owners of a free tool to help them protect one of their most valuable assets.
Offered through Info Quick Solutions (IQS), ‘Fraud Alert’ will send an alert whenever a document, such as deed, mortgage, or release of mortgage is recorded under the property owner’s name. Documents can be viewed online or at the Town Clerk’s office.
“This alert system offers property owners some peace of mind,” said Town Clerk Wendy Gannon Lionetti.
