Ridgefield Public Safety Building Project
If at first you don’t succeed, go back to the drawing board. That is exactly what the Town is doing. After the Public Safety Building Project was voted down in February, the project architects returned to the design phase, working on modifications to the building with the goal of reducing the overall costs.
The need for new facilities for Ridgefield’s Emergency Response Departments is evident. The challenge is to design a building that meets the growing needs of all five departments - Police, Fire, Volunteer Fire, Dispatch, and EMS - while bringing the cost down to a number that residents are comfortable with.
Details on the project can be found on the Ridgefield Public Safety Building Project Website.
