Recycling Center Guidelines
You must have a permit to use the Recycling Center.
Permit fees - $20 for residents and $50 for non-residents.
The permit is good for use at both the Recycling Center and Transfer Station, in Ridgefield only.
Please hang your permit from your vehicle’s review mirror to enter.
Recycling Rightmeans improving our recycling habits to only put in our blue bins or drop off at the recycling center those materials the region’s material recovery facility can process and sell. There are materials which are recyclable, but not acceptable, as there is not yet an end market in our region.
Please do not place unacceptable items in mixed recycling either curbside or at the Recycling Center, they are contamination.
