Scope: The Ridgefield Economic & Community Development Commission (ECDC) is seeking a consultant for fixed term, project-based work to lead the following initiatives in partnership with the members of the ECDC:

1. Primary: Deliverable Tiger Shark Tank - Annual Event: Produce and promote our premiere event in October 2026. Develop an online application, review and consult with applicants, provide final recommendations to ECDC for participants, work with the venue, solicit sponsors, develop the program and marketing and complete any aft: er event support and follow up (ie feedback to the participants)
2. Secondary: Ridgefield ECDC and Cultural District Marketing Support : Help develop marketing calendar and plan. Assist Ridgefield’s Cultural District Work Group in their current marketing and development projects.

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience in economic development, municipal planning, or business administration.
• Understanding of local, state, and federal development regulations and funding landscapes.
• Interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to prepare statistical reports and manage project timelines.

Position Details:

• Reports to the ECDC/Town Leadership.
• Must have a track record of successful project coordination and financial/data analysis.
