Two primaries will be held in Ridgefield on August 11, 2026 – a Democratic Party Primary for the Office of Governor (view sample ballot here), and a Republican Party Primary for the Office of Representative in Congress-4th Congressional District (view sample ballot here).  

August 11, 2026 Primary Day Hours of Voting are 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and the polling locations are:
Voting District 1 – East Ridge Middle School, 10 East Ridge
Voting District 2 – Scotts Ridge Middle School, 750 North Salem Road
Voting District 3 – Yanity Gym, 60 Prospect Street

Early Voting will be held August 3, 5, 7, 8 & 9: from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and August 4 & 6: from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Ridgefield Town Hall Large Conference Room, 400 Main Street.

Absentee Ballots are available from the Town Clerk beginning July 21, 2026 Monday – Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. and special hours on Saturday, August 8 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
